Installation

Please download the MIIDEL Launcher installer from the download page.

Extract the downloaded zip file and run MiidelLauncher.Install.exe to install.
💡 The MIIDEL Launcher uses .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.

⚠️ Due to the influence of security software, startup errors, execution errors, and other issues may occur.
Basic Functions of the Launcher
The MIIDEL launcher provides many features and enhances user convenience. The specific features are as follows:
1. Language Settings
With multilingual support, the launcher supports four languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Please select a language from the dropdown list located at the bottom left of the MIIDEL launcher screen.
2. Terms of Use
You can review the MIIDEL software terms of use.
Click on "Terms of Use" in the launcher menu.
Please note that agreement to the terms of use is required during new installations and when terms of use updates occur.
3. Manual
You can review the MIIDEL launcher manual.
Click on "Manual" in the launcher menu.
4. Release Notes
You can check the latest updates and fixes.
Click on "Release Notes" found in MIIDEL 8 on the launcher screen.
5. Launcher Auto-Start Settings
This section allows you to configure whether the MIIDEL launcher will start automatically.
Click on "Options" in the launcher menu, and set it to ON if you want the MIIDEL launcher to launch automatically.
Communication Settings
This is where you configure the settings if a proxy is required.
If an error message indicates that proxy authentication is needed during license registration, manual setup is necessary.
⚠️ Please confirm various details with your system administrator.
(1) Please check "Manual proxy server configuration". Please verify the proxy server address, port number, and authentication information such as ID and password, then enter them in the settings screen.
(2) Click the "Save" button.
License Registration and Cancellation
You will configure the license registration settings with the MIIDEL launcher to use MIIDEL.
⚠️ License registration cannot be performed in an offline environment, so please work in an environment where network connection is available.

1. License Registration
Register the license to use MIIDEL.
(1) Select "Account Information" from the launcher menu and click "License Registration."
(2) On the license input screen, enter the required information and click the "Login" button.
🖊️ - The required information is listed on the license certificate. - Entering a user ID is optional.
This ID is used to identify the user on the management screen, so please include personally identifiable information such as an email address or name here. - If you want to carry over the license information from MIIDEL7 as is, click the "Inherit registered license" button.
2. Confirm License Information
You can check your account information, such as the license code.
Click "Account Information" in the launcher menu to verify.
3. Cancel License Registration
Cancel the current license registration when you want to change the MIIDEL user.
This allows you to register the license anew on a different computer.
For node-locked licenses, license switching is limited to once every 30 days.
(1) Click "Account Information" in the launcher menu.
(2) Click the "Cancel License Registration" button.
(3) When a confirmation message appears, click the "Yes" button.
(4) The license registration will be canceled.
4. Overwriting License Registration with Node-locked License
With a node-locked license, it is possible to overwrite the license holder in order to use MIIDEL.
(1) Launch MIIDEL Launcher on the new user's computer or on another computer.
(2) In the license registration screen, please enter the license code and sub-code accurately.
(3) A dialog message will appear asking if you would like to overwrite the license, so please select "Yes."

1. Installation
You can install MIIDEL from the launcher.
(1) Click the "Install" button in the MIIDEL 8 section of the launcher screen.
(2) If you're installing for the first time, a terms of service agreement screen will be displayed.
Please review the contents, check "I agree to the terms of service," and click the "Agree" button.
(3) Once the installation is complete, the "Launch" button will appear on the screen.
🖊️ To use MIIDEL, the following systems are required.
If these are not installed on your computer, the installer will automatically launch during MIIDEL installation.

2. Uninstallation
To uninstall MIIDEL:
Click the "More" button in the MIIDEL 8 section of the launcher screen and select Uninstall.
3. Launching
You can launch MIIDEL from the launcher.
Click the "Launch" button in the MIIDEL 8 section of the launcher screen.
4. Offline Use
After license verification, MIIDEL can be used offline without a network connection for 7 days.
(1) First, perform license verification in an online environment with a network connection.
(2) After that, launch the launcher in an offline environment and click the "Launch" button.
(3) Click "Start using offline" on the displayed screen to start MIIDEL.
🖊️ A deadline for offline use is displayed on the screen.
If the deadline passes, please perform license verification again in an online environment.
5. Updating MIIDEL
If an update for the MIIDEL software is available, the update button will be displayed.
Click the "Update" button in MIIDEL 8 of the launcher screen.
🖊️ This button will not be displayed if the latest version is already installed.
Application Downgrade
If applications such as MIIDEL or MIIDEL Docs stop opening or if you need to revert to a previously used version, you can downgrade the application by following these steps:

Click to open the "Version History" of the target application.

You can downgrade by clicking the icon on the right side of the desired version.
Launcher Update
When a new version of the launcher is released, an update button appears at the top of the launcher screen. Click the update button to update the launcher.
